National Veterinary Laboratory invites applications from Pakistani nationals for a PSDP project titled "Implementation of Quality Management System at National Veterinary Laboratory (NVL) and Expanding Scope of Accreditation under ISO/IEC-17025:2005" for the following posts on contract basis. 

SITUATION VACANT

• Senior Scientific Officer/Quality Manager (PPS-08) 

Qualification: 

a) Second Class or Grade 'C' Master's degree in any specialty of Veterinary Sciences/ Pharmacology/ Parasitology/Sero-epidemiology with a basic degree in Animal Husbandry/ Veterinary Sciences/DVM. 

b) 5 years experience in Microbiology/ Diseases Investigation and Biological Production/Pharmacology/Sero-epidemiology. 

• Scientific Officer (PPS-07) 

Qualification: 

a) Second Class or Grade 'C' Master's degree in Pharmacology/ Parasitology/Bacteriology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Epidemiology. 

OR Second Class Grade 'C' Bachelor's degree in Animal Husbandry/ Veterinary Sciences/DVM (Registration with PVMC) OR B. Pharmacy. 

• Laboratory Technician (PPS-04)

Qualification: B.Sc. (Chemistry and Zoology/Biology) or B.Sc. (Lab Techniques) from National Institute of Health or any recognized institute or Higher Degree in the above subjects. 

• Sweeper (PPS-01)

Qualification: Primary Pass.

Note:

1. 05 years general relaxation in upper age limit besides relaxation as per existing rules. 

2. Government servant should apply through proper channel. 

3. No TA/DA will be admissible for test/interview.

• Test, screening, skill, interview fee is Non-Refundable and Non-Transferable • Submit application form along with Bank challan slip through courier with clearly mentioned on envelope "National Veterinary Laboratory" to Pakistan Testing Service Head Quarter, 3rd Floor, Adeel Plaza, Fazal-e-Haq Road, Blue Area, Islamabad for S. No. 1 to 3 within fifteen days of publication of this advertisement.
