Required qualification for the mentioned above posts is as under. 

i. 1st Class BS/ Master degree or equivalent qualification in the relevant subject/ field with at least 16 years of education. 

ii. Preference will be given to the candidates having M. Phil. degree in the relevant field. 

The tenure of Research Scholar/ Teething Assistant will only be for one year which is extendable on the basis of performance. 

• Research Officer (BS-18) (Environmental Sciences) 

Name of Departments/ Instt./ Colleges: 

College of Earth & Environmental Sciences Required qualification for the post of Research Officer is as under. 

i. M.Phil./ MS or equivalent degree (18 years) or Master degree from a foreign university in the relevant field from the HEC recognized University/ Institution. 

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

1) The candidates already in service should apply through proper channel along with service certificate issued by their present and former employees, otherwise, their applications will not be entertained. 

2) Incomplete applications (in any case) or those received after due date shall not be entertained. 

3) The candidates applying for the post of Research Officer are required to submit bank draft/ deposit Rs. 1,500/- and candidates applying for the post of Research Scholar/ Teaching Assistant are required to submit bank draft/ deposit Rs 200/- in the HBL Branch of the Punjab University, Lahore, in favor of the Treasurer, University of the Punjab, Lahore. 

4) The University reserves the rights not to fill/ withdraw any post/ withhold the appointment against this advertisement without assigning any reason. 

5) Application forms complete in all respect should reach in the office of Registrar. 

6) The last date for submission of applications is November 29, 2018 (during office hours).
