VACANCIES ANNOUNCEMENT

NON-TEACHING POSTS: 

(For Lahore Campus) 

• Demonstrator (BPS-16)

Qualification: PGD from an HEC recognized University/institution. Preference shall be given to an experienced person. 

• Data Processor 

Qualification: BCS or PGD from recognized University I Institution / Board. Preference will be given to an experienced person. 

• Lecture Assistant

Qualification: F.Sc. or equivalent from a recognized institution or board with some experience in some relevant field. 

• AC Mechanic

Qualification: Matric with Science 2nd Div. and 2 years technical certificate in the trade of Refrigeration and Air Conditioner from a recognized Institution At least 2 years experience in the relevant field. 

• Plumber 

Qualification: a Skilled worker with 3 years experience in the relevant field. 

• Mason 

Qualification: a Skilled worker with 5 years experience in the relevant field. 

• Sound (DJ) and Mic Operator 

Qualification: Matric with Science years 2nd Div. and 2 years experience in the relevant field. 

• Head Sanitary Worker 

Qualification: Literate at least 10 years experience in the relevant field. 

• Office Runner

Qualification: Minimum Middle years (8th Class). 

• Gardener

Qualification: Literate with Sound years Character. 

• Naib Qasid 

Qualification: Literate.

• Sanitary Worker 

Qualification: Literate.

• Helper 

Qualification: a Skilled worker with 3 years experience in the relevant field. 

NON-TEACHING POSTS:(For Jhang Campus) 

• Kiln Operator (Ceramics)

Qualification: Literate with professional skills to operate and technically handled the ceramics Kiln while firing at a different temperature. 

• Senior Clerk 

Qualification: Intermediate (at least 2nd Division) from recognized institution / Board with 5 years experience as Junior Clerk. Computer knowledge will be preferred. 

• Sub Engineer Civil
• Sub Engineer Electrical

Qualification: Diploma in Civil / Electrical Technology from a recognized institution / Board. 

• Computer  Operator / Data Entry Operator 

Qualification: Intermediate (at least 2nd Division) from a recognized Institution / Board with one-year Diploma in Computer Science from Board of Technical Education or from any other recognized institution. OR Intermediate in Computer Science (at least 2nd Division) from Board / any other recognized institution with one year experience in the relevant field. 

• Driver 

Qualification: Literate, having L.T.V / H.T.V. License. Preference will be given to an experienced person. 

• Bus Conductor 

Qualification: Literate. 

General Information:  

Application Form along with one page CV, attested photocopies of relevant documents, NIC, Domicile, one recent photograph and experience certificates must be attached with the application. Application Forms are available from the Registrar Office on the payment of Rs. 100/- for BS-12 to BS-16 and Rs. 50/- for BS-02 to BPS-11 Posts or equivalent Posts from 09:00 a.m. to 03:00 p.m. 

i) The last date for submission of applications is 12th November 2018.  

ii) The candidates, sending their Applications Forms through mail, have to attach a Bank Draft for each post in favor of Treasurer, LCWU. They should mention the name of Post on the Envelop. 

iii) For all posts only H.E.C. recognized degrees are acceptable. No form will be considered without proper degrees / certificate. 

iv) Foreign Degree holders must provide Equivalence Certificate issued by the Higher Education Commission. 

v) Incomplete applications or applications received after the due date will not be acceptable. 

vi) Applicants applying for the above-mentioned posts having equivalent degrees of the post/subject must provide equivalence certificate issued by the HEC, Islamabad. 

vii) Candidates presently working in Government, Semi Government and Autonomous Bodies should send their applications through Proper Channel only. Advance copies are not acceptable. 

viii) Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview. University may conduct written test if the number of applicants is more than 50. 

ix) Upper age limit is relaxable in exceptional cases under University Rules. 

x) Quota (Disable, Minorities & Women) will be applicable as per Government University Rules. 

xi) The inter-campus transfer is not allowed on these Posts. 

xii) For the Post of Demonstrator (Sr. No. 01) only female candidates can apply and the Post of Helper (Sr. No. 13) required one for Mason and one for Electrician. 

xiii) Preference will be given to the female candidates. 

xiv) No TA / DA will be paid for the interview. 

xv) University Authorities reserve the right: 

• To shortlist the candidates. 

• Not to fill any vacancy without any reason. 

• Withhold appointment, on any advertised post. 

• Increase or decrease the number of vacancies.
