SITUATIONS VACANT

• Assistant Professor Physics 

Qualification & Experience: 

Ph.D. in the relevant field from HEC recognized University/Institution. OR Master's degree (foreign) OR M.Phil (Pakistan) OR equivalent degree awarded after 18 years of education as determined by the HEC in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University / Institution with 04 Years teaching / research experience in a recognized university or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization. 

• Lecturer in English & Applied Linguistics 

Qualification & Experience: 

First Class Master's Degree (B-Grade) OR Second Class Master's Degree with M.Phil or equivalent degree awarded after 16 years of education in the relevant field with no 3rd Division in the academic career, from an HEC recognized University / Institution. 

Provided further that the candidate holding higher degrees viz. M. Phil / Ph.D. or the equivalent degree but with only one Id division in the entire academic career shall also be eligible. 

Provided further that benefit of higher degrees viz. M.Phil/Ph.D. or equivalent degree shall not be allowed to the candidates who are eligible on the basis of higher qualification. 

Note: 

Screening Test (Written + Demonstration) of the eligible candidates for the posts of Lecturer in English will be held on 25th October 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Department of English & Applied Linguistics, University of Peshawar. No Separate call letter will be issued for the same. 

Candidates are required to submit their application forms along with photocopies of complete documents duly attested i.e. one recent passport size photograph, National Identity Card (NADRA), Educational Testimonials, Domicile and Experience / Service Certificates etc. with a Bank receipt / draft (non-refundable)(Account No.6290-3, National Bank of Pakistan, University Campus Branch) of Rs.2500/- for S.No.1 and Rs.2000/- for S.No.2 in favour of the Treasurer, University of Peshawar and should reach the Meetings Section on or before 15 October, 2018 

In-service candidates should apply through proper channel. They must submit No Objection Certificate(s) from their concerned departments/institutions along with the application forms. Incomplete applications and those received after due date will not be entertained.
