Title of the positions: 

• National REDD + Coordinator (NRC) 
• National Forest Inventory (NFI) Expert 

The forest carbon partnership facility (FCPF) is supporting the Government of Pakistan to reach REDD+ (Reduction of Emissions from deforestation and forest degradation). The government of Pakistan has received a grant to support key pillars of readiness for the preservation of forests through private sector-led carbon sequestration and carbon credit generation. 

FCPF-World Bank REDD+ Readiness (R-PP) Project, is seeking the services of Individual Consultants for the positions of National REDD+ Coordinator (NRC) and National Forest. Inventory (NFI) Expert, with the following basic criteria: -

Qualification: Masters degree or higher in natural sciences, environmental science, Forestry/related field, duly recognized by HEC. 

Experience: Minimum 15 years of post-qualification relevant experience in case of NRC and 10 years in case of NFI Expert, preferably with. International Organizations/Projects, in/outside Pakistan. 

The remuneration shall be fixed commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience. Women are encouraged to apply. 

Selection shall be made in accordance with World Bank Procurement Guidelines on The World Bank Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers, July 2016 Revised November 2017.
