The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP), is an autonomous body established under the Chartered Accountants Ordinance,1961. ICAP is currently experiencing an extraordinary growth and expansion; and, is looking to induct bright and energetic individuals for the following positions:-
POSITION VACANT
- SENIOR MANAGER/MANAGER ACADEMICS - KARACHI (3 positions)
The candidate will be responsible to liaise with external researchers / educationists and allied work in order to ensure effective education delivery to the students. The individual should have interest in Education and Research. The ideal candidate should be a Chartered Accountant along with 7-8 years of total experience including at least 3 years post qualification experience. He /she should have strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
- MANAGER QUALITY ASSURANCE - LAHORE
The position will be responsible to conduct the Quality Control Review (QCR) in accordance with set policies and procedures with the objectives to ensure that firms carry out Audit in accordance with the Professional Standards adopted by the Institute. The candidate will assist in arranging meetings for Quality Assurance Board (QAB) and preparing and circulating the agenda and the minutes of the QAB meeting and conduct review of financial statements. The ideal candidate should be a Chartered Accountant with minimum 5 - 6 years of total experience including at least 2 years post-qualification experience in the field of Audit. He/she should have good technical knowledge of ISAs (International Standards on Auditing), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and corporate law with excellent articulation, analytical thinking and report writing skills.
- MANAGER SECRETARIAT - KARACHI
The position is responsible to handle the Secretarial work related to the meetings of the Institute's Council, Executive Committee and various Task Forces of ICAP. Specific responsibilities of the position shall include compilation and finalization of agenda, working papers, minutes of the meetings, coordination with other departments in respect of the above meetings and liaise with regulatory authorities for amendments proposed in the Chartered Accountants (CA) Ordinance and CA Bye Laws in related matters. A Chartered Accountant with minimum 2-3 years of total experience including 1 year post-qualification experience will be considered as an ideal candidate for this position. Candidates having working experience in Corporate Affairs department/Board Secretariat will be given preference. MBA or Masters from HEC recognized University/Institute with relevant corporate experience of at least 4-5 years of working with the Board of Directors of a midsize organization are also encouraged to apply. The candidate must possess strong comprehension, communication and organizational skills.
- MANAGER TECHNICAL SERVICES - KARACHI
The candidate will be responsible to organize and provide technical accounting input to Accounting Standards Board, manage technical projects of the Institute's committees, monitor emerging issues in the accounting and auditing standards and manage stakeholder outreach. The position will report to the Director, Technical Services. The ideal candidate should be a Chartered Accountant with 5-6 years of experience including at least 2 years post-qualification experience preferably with a firm. He/she should have good technical accounting, auditing and corporate law knowledge with excellent articulation, analytical thinking and report writing skills.
- DEPUTY MANAGER (MARKETING Et COMMUNICATIONS) - LAHORE
The candidate will be responsible in managing and strengthening marketing, digital marketing including social media, advertising and promotional activities for the awareness of the profession. Engage in creating promotional material; develop creative content for marketing collateral and write-ups for press releases. The position will further provide assistance in all outreach programs, organize and conduct counseling sessions, marketing events and media relations.

- ASSISTANT MANAGER OPERATIONS - PESHAWAR
The candidate will be responsible to supervise all administrative functions of ICAP Peshawar Office including managing examinations, maintaining branch decorum, operating facilitation center and the library of ICAP Peshawar Office. The incumbent is also responsible to ensure smooth operational, accounting and administrative activities of the station. The incumbent should have relevant experience to plan, develop and execute various outreach sessions, career counseling programs and continuous professional development seminars, in order to spread the awareness of CA qualification in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region. Maintain a good relationship with ICAP members and proactively expedite the quality of services to students along with other external parties including private and public sector within the limits of council guidelines, ICAP policies and procedures. The candidate must have a Master's Degree in Business Administration or Public Administration or equivalent from a reputed University/Institute with at least 3-4 years of experience. Relevant experience would be preferred with excellent communication, presentation, administrative and interpersonal skills.
- ASSISTANT MANAGER ADMINISTRATION - LAHORE
The position is responsible for supervising and managing the infrastructure of ICAP including construction, renovation and negotiation with vendors for cost and services. This position will also be responsible to supervise and manage events, assist the supervisor in administrative affairs, maintenance of equipment and inventory records to ensure best administrative practices are implemented and followed within the limits of ICAP policies and procedures. The candidate must be a graduate from a reputed University/ Institute with at least 3-4 years of relevant experience. Candidates with construction and administrative experience will be preferred.
- SENIOR OFFICER EDUCATION & TRAINING - LAHORE
The position will be responsible to assist students in day-to-day queries; provide administrative support in organizing events and assist in preparation of examination hall with the objective to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks and smooth conduct
The candidate will be responsible to assist the Management in the due process of coordination with the developers and printers of study packs, quality review, content development, feedback management, revision and updates in the syllabus, learning outcomes, study material and implementation of the overall education scheme. Furthermore, the candidate will assist in the compliance review of International Education Standards (IESs) as issued by International Accounting Education Standards Board (IAESB). The candidate must be MBA or Masters in relevant discipline from a well reputed and recognized University/ Institute or have certificate in Accounting and Finance from ICAP. He / She should have 2-3 years of experience in handling education related matters along with the ability to communicate effectively.
- SENIOR OFFICER FINANCE - LAHORE
The position is responsible for assisting the supervisor in all accounting matters related to preparation of financial statements, payments receipts, and assist in handling general accounting related matters at ICAP Lahore office with the objective to ensure transparency and accuracy in maintaining and recording accounts within the limits of directives/guidelines from the supervisor. The candidate must have a Master's Degree in Business Administration (Finance) or Masters in Commerce from a reputed University/Institute with at least 2 - 3 years of relevant experience. Candidates with sound knowledge of Accounting Standards and proficiency in MS Office and Oracle will be given preference.
- SENIOR OFFICER - SUKKUR & GUJRANWALA
The candidate will be responsible for facilitating students in providing registration and examination related information and addressing their queries, to assist in receiving examination, registration and other related forms and maintaining stock of publication. This position will also be responsible to provide support in organizing seminars, counseling sessions and handling of operational and administrative activities. The candidate must be a Master's Degree holder or have 4 years of Graduation in relevant discipline from a well reputed and recognized University/Institute. Preference will be given to those individuals with at least 2 - 3 years of experience in handling education related matters. Candidates who are proficient in MS Office and possess excellent communication skills are encouraged to apply.

- OFFICE SECRETARY - LAHORE
The candidate will be responsible to perform all secretarial tasks including preparing routine responses, maintaining departments schedule by maintaining calendars, arranging meetings /conferences and travel for the Executives, and maintaining confidential files and other material for the use of the Executive.
The candidate must have a Graduate degree from a reputed University/Institute with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Candidates with proficient typing and shorthand skills with knowledge of MS Office would be given preference.
- OFFICER EXAMINATION - LAHORE
The candidate will be responsible for conduct of examinations, data entry of forms, scrutiny and other related work with the objective to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks with accuracy. The candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree with up to 2 years of experience or a recently passed Masters in Mathematics/Statistics/Economics/English Language from a reputed University / Institute. Good Knowledge of IT will be an added advantage.
- OFFICERS - KARACHI (3 positions)
The candidate will be responsible for data entry of forms, scrutiny, and other related work with the objective to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks with accuracy. The candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree with up to 2 years of experience or a recently passed Masters in Mathematics/Statistics/Economics/English Language from a reputed University / Institute. Good Knowledge of IT will be an added advantage.
- IT OFFICER - KARACHI
The candidate will be responsible to monitor and maintain computer systems and other IT peripherals. Installation and configuration of new hardware and software, network support, and problems solutions. Respond to user support calls and ensure completion of tasks within defined timelines. The candidate should be a Graduate or Diploma in Computer Science from recognized Institute/Board of Technical Education with up to 2 years of working experience. Having knowledge of Audio and Video Conferencing will be an added advantage. Preference will be given to those who possess technical skills, such as: Windows XP/7, MS Office 2007/2010, and Antivirus.
- OFFICE ASSISTANT - LAHORE & GUJRANWALA
The candidate will be responsible to provide day to day office and administrative support in branch office, facilitate the students and members in an effective and efficient manner within the limits of ICAP policies and procedures and guidelines from the supervisor. The candidate should be a Graduate from a reputed University/Institute, with 0-1 year of relevant experience.
