MBBS or Equivalent medical qualification recognized by the PMDC (herein after mentioned as council) with the following postgraduate qualification order of preference FCPS/MS/FRCS/MRCP/MD/MDS respectively in the relevant subject or other equivalent qualification recognized by the council.

• Consultant Radiologist BS-18 

For Radiology Department and Accident & Emergency Department.

MBBS with M.D or FCPS in the relevant subject or other equivalent qualification. OR MBBS with Postgraduate qualification like DMRD or MCPS in relevant subject or equivalent qualification with two years practical experience in the relevant subject in a recognized institution before or after post graduation. 

• Consultant Pathologist BS-18 

MBBS with D.Sc or Ph.D or M.Phil or FCPS or M.Sc (Two years duration) in the relevant subject or other equivalent qualification OR MBBS or M.Sc in the relevant subject with Postgraduate qualification like D C Path or other equivalent qualification with two years practical experience in the relevant subject in a recognized institution before or after Post graduation. 

• Consultant Anesthetist BS-18 

For Anesthesia Department, Surgical Tower and Accident & Emergency Department. 

MBBS with MS OR FCPS in the relevant subject or other equivalent qualification. OR MBBS and Postgraduate qualification like D.A or MCPS in the relevant subject or other equivalent qualification with two years practical experience in the relevant subject in a recognized institution before or after post graduation. 

• Medical Officer BS-17 

For Wards, Surgical Tower and A&E Department.

MBBS with valid Registration of PMDC & Regular 1 year House job. 

• Woman Medical Officer BS-17 

For General Ward, Surgical Tower, Accident & Emergency. 

MBBS with valid Registration of PMDC & Regular 1 year House job. 

The recruitment. selection shall be made purely on adhoc basis. Only recognized qualification in accordance with regulations of Pakistan Medical & Dental Council equivalence, if any, approved by PM&DC shall also be considered. Only those candidates having domicile of Punjab are eligible to apply. The criteria for recruitment will be followed issued by the Punjab Public Service Commission vide letter No.PPSC-RF-2016/353-RF Dated 27-12-2016. Consequently same has been approved by the Government of the Punjab, Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department vide No.PA.DS(Admn) Misc.2016 (recruitment criteria) dated 27-12-2016. 

The candidates are required to bring their original credentials/documents with them at the time of interview. In-Complete application form and without required documents, will not be considered.

Note:-

1. The number of posts mentioned against each category can be increased/decreased at the time of interview according to the availability of posts. 

2. Interview call will be issued to the eligible candidates later on. 

3. Interview call for Consultant/Senior Registrars will be issued to only those candidates whose Postgraduate Degree is included in the PMDC Certificate and is valid at the time of interview. 

4. Interviews call for all above mentioned posts will be issued to only those candidates whose Degree is registered with PMDC and PMDC Certificate is valid at the time of interview. 

5. Those candidates whose are already in Government Service must be attached NOC from the competent authority otherwise their applications will not be entertained. 

6. Five Years General Age Relaxation in Upper Age Limit for male candidates and 08 Years General Age relaxation in upper age limit for Female Candidates as per Government of the Punjab S&GAD Notification No.SORI(S&GAD)9-36/81 Dated 21-05-2012. Minorities disable and woman Quota as per Punjab Government rules.
